Homemade Disinfectant Wipes

Just stumbled up this awesome recipe for making your own homemade disinfecting wipes! No Chemicals! Awesome!

Here is what you need:

1 roll paper towels
2 cups warm water
2 TBL Fractionated Coconut Oil
3 drops Protective Blend*
3 drops lemon essential oil
1-2 TBL Protective Blend Foaming Hand Wash
An Airtight Storage Container

1. Cut the roll of paper towels in half with a serrated kitchen knife or electric knife
2. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
3. Place the paper towels in an airtight container and pour the mixture over them and let them sit for 10 minutes while they absorb.
4. Turn the container over and let them absorb for another 10 minutes.
5. Open the container and take out the cardboard core from the paper towels.
6. Pull them from the center and use!

Window Cleaner

Window Cleaner: 

1/8 c vinegar

1 c water

10-15 drops lemon essential oil

That's it! If you have a large spray bottle like this one, you will want to double this recipe. I love this window cleaner. It is 100% natural, it smells great and works better than windex!! It's made with lemon oil so it is antibacterial and kills virus'.

Approximate cost for a large spray bottle (this recipe tripled): $1.50

Multi-Purpose Cleaner w/ Protective Oil Blend

 Protective Blend Multi-purpose cleaner: 

This recipe smells wonderful! It is naturally antibacterial and kills virus'. 

1/4 c white vinegar

2 cups water

20 drops essential oil

1 tsp borax

2 TBL Protective Oil Blend* Cleaner Concentrate

Directions: First add your water to an empty spray bottle, then add all the other ingredients. Put your spray top on and shake well. :) 

Suggested Essential Oils: 

I like to use about 15 Protective Blend drops and about 5-10 drops of wild orange. You really can use any combination you like. Lemon is very anti-bacterial/viral. The Protective Blend Oil kills virus and bacteria and PROHIBITS GROWTH FOR UP TO 7 days!! It's pretty awesome stuff so I like it for my multi-purpose cleaner. If you don't have the Protective Blend cleaner concentrate you could just add a few teaspoons of castile soap and 10 more drops Protective Blend.

IMPORTANT Note: Borax is a powerful disinfectant, kills germs, bacteria, fungi & deodorizes. Although it is natural, borax is toxic when ingested. Keep away from children, pets and food preparation areas. If you want need a multi-purpose cleaner for the kitchen, follow the same recipe and simply omit the borax.

DIY Protective Blend Foaming Hand Sanitizer

To make your own OnGuard foaming hand sanitizer you will need: OnGuard essential oil and cleaner concentrate, lemon or wild orange essential oil and a 2 oz foaming dispenser. 

Mix: 

Fill foamer with water 1/2 full

1 tsp Protective Blend* cleaner concentrate

6 drops Protective Blend* essential oil

6 drops wild orange or lemon essential oil

fill remainder of the foamer with water

shake well & use.

Skinny Wrap - It Works!

Slim N' Sassy Skinny Wrap 

In a 4 oz glass spray bottle, mix: 

40 drops Metabolic Blend*

15 drops Eucalyptus

15 drops Wintergreen

10 drops Peppermint

10 drops Lavender

10 drops Grapefruit

Fill to top with Grape seed oil. Shake well. 

Before wrapping take body measurements. 

Spray wrap solution onto the body area of concern. For thighs add a few drops of cypress to recipe. 

Wrap with 3 or 4 layers of Saran Wrap and leave on for 1.5-2 hours. For people with sensitive skin or longer wraps (overnight) it is recommended to first wrap your body with some type of muslin or a ripped up old t-shirt. 

Drink LOTS of water with lemon oil during your wrap. Do NOT eat while wrap is in effect. 

This recipe is wonderful to help the body release toxins that get stored in the fat cells of the body. Everyone's body is a little different in how quickly they see and feel results. Some people see a quick response and for others it may take a day before they see it. Don't forget to measure after! :)
